After 3 long years of writing the first (actually second) book. I have finally finished it! YAY ME!
But like all beginners to writing, what do I do next?
Well, I have done the edits, and done the Beta testing, oh and the Alpha testing, then edit it again, and then change the story, oh then edits, and cut out 10K words, added 3 more chapters, cut down my chapters, Oh did I mention the edits?

Since joining a writers group, they informed me that I need just ONE MORE TEST.... a manuscript assignment.
This is where I send off my novel, the full version of the novel and get this assess but a professional editor.
This is where they can tell me what needs to stay, what needs to go, what works, and what doesn't. I am quite excited to see what they say about the book and what need more work on it.
Listening to my Beta readers on this story so far has given me fresh eyes, and fresh ideas on where to take the story. The story arch is still there, but how the character get there is now different to the first draft, as the first draft was quite long!
This is starting to feel real now, not much a distance dream, that once I get this back, more fix ups and then, ready for publish.
My next step is looking for cover designer.
Until Next Time.....
